Neo-endogenous growth theory? It's all Balls!

Now he tells us! Back in the day our dear old Ed was one of Gordon's economic gurus expounding, via his master's voice, his views on how the country could enjoy continual economic growth, with low inflation, low unemployment and prosperity for all.

Now it is reported that he has said that: "The economy is going to define our politics.....in Britain in the next year, the next five years, the next 10 and even the next 15 years...I think that this is a financial crisis more extreme and more serious than that of the 1930s and we all remember how the politics of that era were shaped by the economy."

When people finally realise that we've been led by a set of donkeys for the last 12 years, even the 28% that still seem to support Labour will want to kick them out.

The sadness of the present situation is that the tidying up process will take years Ted. People are fickle.

What interests me is how the present mess is going down with the hard core labour voters here in Scotland. Many still think the PM is the best thing since sliced bread.

Fickle indeed! I'm not sure how it works in Scotland - the history is different in terms of "group memory" and maybe the sense of injustice is more deeply ingrained in the psyche making it more difficult to accept we are now in the 21st century rather than the 18th?

Hope this is not some sort of accidental insult to Scots! Not intended!
